National Crime Victims’ Rights Week provides an opportunity for us to recommit to Supporting Victims, Building Trust, and Engaging Communities. We couldn’t be prouder to stand together on crime victimization in our community, and we are excited by the participation and support of so many community members and organizations.

WEEK EVENT TIMELINE

The Department of Public Safety’s Statewide Automated Victim Information and Notification System (SAVIN), Restitution and Victim Services (RAVS), and CVCC/HPA Post-Conviction Victim Advocacy (PCVAP) programs are hosting a virtual event for this year’s

National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW).

Victim Wish Board

A Victim Wish Board will be running all week on the website. Victims/survivors, advocates, and supporters will have the opportunity to submit and post a wish for a victim/survivor they know. 

Brown Bag Informational Sessions 

Local victim service providers share brown bag (short video) information and resource sessions about victims’ rights and support services provided to victims/survivors in the community. These will be posted on the website throughout the week.
